about

The songwriting process was a different this time round. For the last album it was basically a compilation of songs we had accumulated over the years. For this, we started from zero. The count was also going through a major political upheaval, and that was reflected in our song Cepronia. It was a sense of optimism right around election time. Whether or not the new government lives up to the hype remains to be seen.

Brown sounds psychedellic, Basah is jazzy acoustic, Where are Them Girls is surf and garage . We would like to say that our style of sound is very non-binary and non-conforming.

We have also established Shh...Diam!'s brass department with Marcel(trombone), Gemma (saxsophone) and James (trumpet) in this album. The brass department will be performing with us in the local Malaysian gigs.
